To prove that a cash payment was made.

The document starts with « Je soussigné(e) [your name], born on…, residing at…, » (I, the undersigned)
reconnais avoir reçu de [Prénom NOM] la somme de [montant en chiffres] euros ([montant en lettres] euros) en espèces, le [date], en paiement de [objet du paiement].
Translation (to understand)
acknowledge having received from [First name SURNAME] the sum of [amount in figures] euros ([amount in words] euros) in cash, on [date], in payment for [purpose of payment].
When to use it? Private sale, childcare, small works, deposit paid in cash.
Good to know: the person who receives the money signs. For rent, use a rent receipt instead (Quittance Tranquille app).
