To give a member proof that their membership fee has been paid.

The document starts with « Je soussigné(e) [your name], born on…, residing at…, » (I, the undersigned)
agissant en qualité de [fonction : trésorier(ère) / président(e) / secrétaire] de l'association [@entreprise], [@forme], numéro [@identifiant], dont le siège est situé [@siege], certifie avoir reçu de [Prénom NOM de l'adhérent] la somme de [montant] € au titre de sa cotisation pour l'année [année de la cotisation], réglée le [date du paiement] par [paiement : espèces / chèque / virement / carte bancaire].
Ce reçu confirme l'adhésion de [Prénom NOM de l'adhérent] à l'association pour cette période.
[x] Cette cotisation n'ouvre pas droit à une réduction d'impôt.
[ ] Cette cotisation ouvre droit à une réduction d'impôt (article 200 du Code général des impôts) : un reçu fiscal (cerfa n° 11580) est remis séparément.
Translation (to understand)
acting as [role : treasurer / chair / secretary] of the association [@entreprise], [@forme], number [@identifiant], whose registered office is at [@siege], certify that I have received from [First name SURNAME of the member] the sum of €[amount] as their membership fee for the year [year of the fee], paid on [payment date] by [payment : cash / cheque / bank transfer / card].
This receipt confirms the membership of [First name SURNAME of the member] for this period.
[x] This fee does not give entitlement to a tax reduction.
[ ] This fee gives entitlement to a tax reduction (article 200 of the French General Tax Code): a tax receipt (cerfa no. 11580) is issued separately.
When to use it? When a member pays their fee, especially in cash: they keep proof, and so does the association.
Good to know: only a public-interest association can issue a tax receipt (66% tax reduction). If in doubt, leave the first box ticked. With the Business space, the association’s details fill in automatically and its logo appears if it is registered.
